THE CHILE MISSION AS A WHOLE
CHILE MISSION PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Sent out by the Church…. to reach people, and especially children, with the love of Jesus, that they might know and follow him too.
Different dimensions of our work:
- A work with children and their families, who stay in houses built on the team’s property in urban La Cisterna, Santiago. At present, the work involves housing and emotional & spiritual support for mothers of children coming to Santiago children’s hospitals from other parts of the country to receive long-term medical treatments. These mothers can stay on the ministry property for a day or on & off as needed.
- Combining with Local churches and Christian Churches/Churches of Christ in Chile.
- Ministering and meeting needs in other parts of Chile, including the establishment of a children’s camp/Christian center between Chillán and Concepción, six hours south of Santiago.
- Community ministries that have included an “English Club” and monthly teaching in a Christian live-in drug rehabilitation center for men.
